Workday is simple to use and very intuitive. It made training new employees simple and they were able to be caught up quickly. I don't have much bad to say about this product, as it definitely made our day-to-day operations more smooth and easier to swallow. I am happy to endorse it for any company that could use it.
  • Good support
  • Easy scheduling
  • Ease of use
  • Risk of cyber attacks
  • Outdated interface in certain areas in my opinion.
  • Search function leaves some to be desired.
I like having all of my information (benefits, compensation, profile) in one place that I can access easily. It helps a lot when new employees come and training is required. I always am able to find what I am looking for, as long as I am sure what that is. It also helps generate analytics and is able to assess how our employee profile is as a whole.

Workday Professional Services Automation is a great tool that holds all of our company files, our HR and onboarding information, payroll, and benefits. I love how easy it is to access any of these files and how much time it saves us. It's just as easy to update any of the information too. I also like that we have a full project lifecycle from start to finish because it helps us see what is going on with the project and where it is in the process.
  • Project and resource management
  • Accurately track time from anywhere
  • Increase productivity
  • Mobile application need to improved
Workday Professional Services Automation is used to automate onboarding documentation, people management documentation and employment verification information. Workday houses our employee personnel files. All team members have full access their documents, status or requests from the supervisors, etc. It also holds all payroll information, benefits, etc.

I primarily used Workday as a central location for all things HR-related. I didn't manually have to clock in or out, but there was a time-keeping feature. It also tracked all of my vacation and sick hours and allowed me to request vacation/sick time within the portal. It also had all of my pay information and kept track of historical salary information (merit increases, bonuses, etc.). It also was extremely helpful in finding people within our organization. It had an organization tree, so you could find individuals as well as teammates on their team and supervisor/bosses, along with contact information such as their work email and/or phone number, so it was really easy to find anyone within the organization and anyone else associated with them if you needed it. Workday also housed some information about benefits and what I had enrolled in for that fiscal year.
  • Time Tracking
  • Organizational Employee Overview
  • Benefits Tracking
  • Pay/Salary History
  • More clearly defining areas within the portal.
  • More tutorial training
I really enjoyed using Workday. I liked that it was a one-stop shop for all things related to HR or payroll. I didn't use it for time tracking, but I heard it was a little tedious to use it, from people who had to use it to clock in and out. I think it's a great platform for a large company that has a lot of employees to keep track of and a lot of resources to provide to employees so they can help themselves if possible.

Workday Professional Services Automation has an easy and classy interface with easy access and the features are easy with reliable Automation services. Reporting capability is the best and management of multiple business services and data analytics ability with Workday Professional Services Automation is nice and the project scheduling tools are effective and easy insights collection ability also is great.
  • Easy on Automation.
  • Scheduling is effective.
  • Easy project tasks management.
  • Not much, but deployment is not easy to new users.
  • Multiple services automation not that simple.
  • Interface configuration requires an experienced user.
The automation services quality with Workday Professional Services Automation is good and the impact on various businesses and projects is effective and reliable. The platform integration is stable and perfect for easy data import and the generation of accurate projects reports through this software is excellent and even on collaboration, the platform is incredible.

I used this application in general for clocking in and out of shifts. This application is where all my information was stored towards my job including W2s , payment information , contacts information , other important information needed and necessary for the company and my knowledge. This application without a doubt was one of my favorite applications to use because it never let me down for any reason. Here we also took any test implemented by the company and always worked great.
  • Keeps all of your personal information safe and private
  • Has all the documents needed for the time being with the company
  • Has extra important information about the company for your knowledge
  • The requirement to change password so many times throughout the year
  • Alternatives to changing password
  • Simpler ways to find documents
Workday is a great application for companies that are very large range and have a lot of employees. This application keeps everyone familiar with where to find important documents and constantly sends reminders and important information company wise so that everyone is informed about the different things going on. This application is also great for having everyone do practice videos or sessions.

Workday is used to automate onboarding documentation, people management documentation and employment verification information. Workday houses our employee personnel files. All team members have full access their documents, status or requests from the supervisors, etc. It also holds all payroll information, benefits, etc.
  • Quick visibility to archived employee documents
  • Quick access to paystubs
  • Ability to easily update contact information
  • Mobile application interface is still a bit week; crashes often
  • Would love to see more personalization options
Automation is well suited for the needs of the organization.

Workday is a great tool to connect all employees and manage performance by tracking goals and progress towards those goals, while retaining information about employees to understand their experience and find experts as needed.
  • Goal Tracking
  • Employee career progress
  • Go to source for the individual to track and manage personal data
  • Updates are not always cleared or resolved easily
Workday is a great tool to tie together employee goals, progress towards those goals, and career history. It is great for companies that love to recognize it's employees through standard check-ins and goal progress. It is flexible in how it can be configured to track employee data and how employees can use it as their own resource to maintain their data and search for other experts when you work for a global company.

My organization currently uses Workday for most of our Human Resource related functions. It houses all of our personal employee information related to our roles. The most important aspect of Workday currently for our company is in relation to our internal review process, as well as goal setting and assessment.
  • all-in one platform
  • integrations
  • Automations
  • User interface
  • difficult to make edits and changes
  • Feels outdated
Workday is a solid tool depending on what your organization needs it for. For our particular use case it does the job, but I have found it frustrating to use as an individual over the years. It's not easy to make edits or changes and the interface isn't the best. Again, I can only speak to it from a review/goal management and assessment standpoint.

We primarily use Workday as an HRIS. For me specifically, I primarily use it to request time off work and view my vacation time balances. I'm able to send my requests to management and see when they approve the request. The main problem that it addresses is visibility into PTO and Sick time so I can see my balance and request the time needed.
  • Simple to request PTO
  • Visibility on approval of PTO
  • Calendar to view all time off (i.e. Holidays, Vacation, Sick, Volunteer)
  • Would like to be able to use it for clocking in and out
  • The dashboard user interface could be improved to include more pertinent information
  • Would be nice to hide features that we use other applications for (i.e. org chart, pay, expenses)
I enjoy using Workday but we use multiple other applications (ADP, Anaplan, Chrome River) for features that Workday also is able to help with. If we used more of the features in Workday I would recommend it higher. Overall very satisfied with the features we use it for to see visibility into PTO but could be used for a lot more.

We have transitioned to using it as our HRIS- timekeeping, corrective action, performance, and goal setting, and are looking to add more capabilities in the future. This was to replace PeopleSoft which was outdated and a little clunky with a dated interface and several different sites whereas on workday we just have a central location for everything.
  • UI is slick and user friendly.
  • Love the auto fill feature when searching.
  • Everything is in one place.
  • We are currently dealing with a glitch that is filling our inboxes with notifications not related to us.
Our issues have more to do with implementation than the service itself I think, but the bugs are taking longer than I would have expected to iron out. Further, the transition of information has also not been as quick causing us to use multiple systems to retrieve historical data. Other than that I think it’s a great option for businesses that want a one-stop-shop.

I use Workday Professional Services Automation to update candidate and employee information. I use it for mostly applications and employee informational data. The problems of paper files being used is solved through using the software as a way to store information regarding pay, applications, and data.
  • Store information
  • Change and update information for end-user
  • Review applications and benefits
  • Allowing candidate to review job posting after it has expired.
Very updated and easy to use for both a professional in Human Resources as well as employees. Workday has a great layout and it is easy to track the type of information you need.

In our organization, Workday Professional Services Automation is a tool focused on the individual control of each employee. There we can upload our personal and contact data, receive payment receipts, upload our skills, see our salary changes, claims with HR, manage and monitor our KPIs, as well as information on our benefits as an employee.
  • Display information about hierarchy organization
  • Newsletters
  • Individual performance
  • Better UX/UI
  • Nested information, sometimes it is painful to try to find information
  • A better way to download attached files
Workday Professional Services Automation is an important tool within our organization. Its main function for us as employees is informative. There we can track our performance, provide feedback and be in contact with HR. However, to find information, many times, you have to navigate deep inside the menus. Sometimes there are hidden menus that are not very easy to see, and the way in which we can download attached files (salary receipts) is a bit confusing.

Workday [Professional Services Automation] is used on a daily basis for accurate timekeeping and time management, as well as learning modules to help learn tools needed for job position.
  • Time Keeping/Time Management
  • Learning modules for job roles
  • Finding information on department members to find correct contact information.
  • The Reports and Tasks Page is sometimes hard to read/understand, a short informational module may help with figuring out layout/ what common reports do
  • Could use options to add filters to search ,as searching certain keywords can result in unneeded results
  • With Time off options, would be helpful to be able to select exact hours rather than just period of time.
Well suited *Keeping Track of hours worked, time off, and balances of different time pools(Pto, Vto,etc) *Easy to request changes to time/schedule *Easy to access Learning Modules created by A company in order to assist in job role *Easy to find information of needed persons in the directory system Less appropriate *Reports/Tasks page may feel like an information overload, it is thorough but not exactly visually friendly for average employee. *Not as useful for less structured jobs that don't have need for strict time keeping or reporting, as most of workday involves accuracy and thoroughness.

Workday is used company-wide at our organization. Every employee is managed in the Workday system. It is a fantastic platform for managing employee pay, benefits, and professional relationships. Workday makes it easy for employees to access their "human resources" in a self-serve manner. This is a great time-save by cutting down on simple communications between employees and their managers/HR.
  • Consolidated data resource. Allows Workday to be the authority for pay and benefits.
  • Advanced automation for administrators.
  • Self-serve for employees. Allows users to self manage their information.
  • At times the user interface feels clunky and slow.
  • Organization of the web application feels unintuitive. Can often be hard to find what you're looking for.
  • Honestly, not much else! It's a solid platform.
Workday is perfect for medium to large enterprise businesses looking to manage their human elements. It offers advanced reporting and automation for users at the admin level. It also gives users at the employee-level strong self-serve resources. Workday would be less suited to small businesses looking to manage their employee resources.
